Quality Healthcare: Inexpensive and Accessible!
Obamacare has a lot of good features, including providing healthcare for all, eliminating preexisting conditions, and having children under age 26 able to stay on their parents’ insurance.
However, it does not address the problem of enormous healthcare expenditure. Obamacare will take more money from Medicare and require all businesses with over 70 employees to pay for employee healthcare. Obamacare hurts senior citizens who can no longer care for themselves. My opponent voted “YES” on the Obamacare Act, resulting in small businesses facing more red tape and creating fewer jobs. I have a proposal outlined in my book, “What Makes Sense”, to solve these healthcare issues. Simply put, this proposal will dictate that healthcare providers be rewarded by the number of lives saved and the amount of money saved and also be tailored based on experience. Control of YOUR healthcare needs to be put in the hands of medical professionals and you the patients, rather than administrators. Healthcare should be available and affordable for everyone in a country as great as ours.
Liberty for all: Sensible Immigration Reform!
America has benefited from the ideas, innovation, and hard work of all who came and made this nation great. We need to strengthen our borders and stop the continued influx of illegal acts. We also need to care for those who have the intention of being a law-abiding citizen and did not have a choice in committing an illegal act. Inaction by our current Congress creates a bigger problem when our economy is not capable of sustaining such an economic strain. We need to provide an equitable solution to serve humanity as well as justice. I will fight for an equitable and fair immigration reform!
World Peace: Keep America stronger!
Only a strong America will keep us and the world safe from terrorists. Having the best military in the world gives us a strong position from which to negotiate peace. We need to end the wars overseas and safely bring our fellow Americans home. We need to protect our allies with peaceful resolutions, but stand steadfast against terrorists and nations that support these terrorists.
